Willis Earl Bain was in Stalag IIIC.

My step-father Willis Earl Bain was from Tennessee. He escaped with two other men on New Year’s Eve night, 1944 and travelled south to Naples.

(Old Hickory Division – 30th Arm. Div. 117th Inf. – company C).
