C L Bakker is included on the attached list of prisoners of work camp PG 115/III (PG 115/3) Marsciano, Italy

PG 115.3 Marsciano (List Of POW Names)

Note:  C L Bakker has been added to camp PG 115 Morgnano, as that was the main camp responsible for the administrative management of work camp PG 115/III Marsciano. In Italy, POWs could be sent from different permanent camps to a work detachment (also referred to as a work camp, labour camp or satellite) and one camp in the area selected as the main camp. The main camp itself could be a work camp, but assigned the conventional number as opposed to a work camp number.
Confusingly, some sources list Italian work camps with the main camp number, but quote the work camp place name e.g. “PG 115 Marsciano”. Marsciano is work camp III dependant on PG 115 Morgnano, therefore ‘PG 115/III Marsciano’.
Neither PG 115 Morgnano or work camp PG 115/III Marsciano are included in the above list from Forces War Records. We have added these camps.

Confirmation of the permanent camps and work camps for C L Bakker is required.
