Information provided by Stephanie Brush

My grandfather Lloyd G Brush was in the Essex Scottish Regiment and was captured and sent to Lamsdorf after the raid at Dieppe. We have some stories told to us by my grandfather during the years. During my honeymoon in Paris in 1997, my husband and I took a trip to Dieppe. We brought back some of the rocks from the beach. Not until we got home did we realise that all the rocks are littered with bullet scrapings and marks. Still to this day!
