Sydney Lawrence Burns

Syd was my father, he was born in Temuka, New Zealand near where I was born, Timaru.
Pte S L Burns 10582 A company 23rd Battalion 5th Brigade 2NZEF.
He was made prisoner Oct 1941 in Crete, then sent to Stalag VIIIB
He was released around May 1945.
I have some letters etc, most were stolen on the way back to NZ
