My grandfather father Donald Anthony Clark (dob 5/5/1919) and his unit were captured attempting to get to Dunkirk in 1940. He was repatriated in 1943.

In his unit was Sidney de Haan, (founder of Saga) captured on the same day.

He was attached to the Royal Army Service Corps as an ambulance driver.

I have attached a picture of his PoW tags.

My grandad never spoke about the war, at all.
