Jan 1945 – did not go on the Long March but forced to go down the coal mines – team assembled at front gates of Camp – he made a break and ran to the end of the camp and hid in the camp gymnasium – then found refuge in barracks near then end of the camp; found by a German Doctor some time later. Sick and injured were put on parade. They were then sent to
Nuremburg then home – end Jan 1945 ?
