Thomas Gribbin, John Gribbin & Walter Gribbin were my father and his 2 brothers who were in the Lancashire Fusiliers. They were there in Stalag VIIB from May 1940 to 1945.They were also on the famous horrific Long March, luckily they all survived and made it back home.

The three Gribbin brothers are mentioned in the book ‘Six Wasted Years’ by Len Williamson, pages 23-24, 26-29 and page 52.

Len was sent to Stalag VIIIB and worked at a sawmill, E119 Mankendorf (Mankovice). This is the story of his experiences during the war, from the time he joined up until his release.
