He was first sent to Stalag IIIA in Luckenwalde where he was held in solitary for 21 days then sent on to Stalag IIID until the end of the war

          Hi I’m just writing to let you know that this was my grandad and the details you have are wrong.
          Firstly he was born in Ossett Wakefield
          His DOB was 15/5/1914
          His service no is correct and his POW no is correct
          He was first sent to Stalag III-A in luckenwalde where he was held in solitary for 21 days then sent on to Stalag III-D until the end of the war
