I would like to add my father to your current listing if at all possible. I have been trying to research a lot more of his whereabouts and at the moment I only have limited information. Some of the things he mentioned to me when I was a boy and only have a vague memory of. Unfortunately he died in 2004

His Name was Jack Arthur Marshall he was a private serving in RASC with the 51st Highland Division. He was taken prisoner at St Valery during the Dunkirk evacuation.

I have managed to find a couple of pictures he was sent to Stalag VIIIB during his time there and I have a couple of framed pictures of him at the camp.

He used to mention to me about the working parties he was on and I am sure he mentioned a sugar beet factory. I found a very old picture of a factory in Munsterberg which is now Ziebice which I believe to be this sugar beet factory

Any way I know it is not a lot but I hope it could prove useful and may spark someone else of regarding further information or stories
