My dad was captured at St.Valerie on 12th June, 1940 – his name – 

Pte. Gordon Redmond : 4th Batt. Seaforth Highlanders

Army No. 2823501 – detained in Gefanenen 17387 – Stalag VIIIB

and also at Marieburg, East Prussia.

I have a small diary belonging to my dad – lots of names –

and small details about the years he was a POW.
