Subject: POW Raymond Warren Taylor – Fleet Air Arm pilot

My late father, Raymond Warren Taylor was held at Stalag VIIIB as a British POW from November 1941.

I have learnt my father was initially held in an Italian Camp as he was captured in Sicily when they landed in the sea off Cefalu.
He was transferred to Marlag and Marlag Nord, Westertimke, Northwest Germany in September 1943.
