Stalag VIIIB (344 Lamsdorf), Silesia, Poland.

POW No: 27510.

Survived The Long March by escaping from it and was repatriated by the American Army in July 1945.

Kenneth met his neighbourhood friend in Stalag VIIIB/344 Lamsdorf (both lived in Kings Norton, Birmingham). Vic Halford was a civilian worker (Admin?) who was captured in Tobruk, was a PoW in Italy, then transferred to VIIIB/344’
