Call for volunteers with experience of organising events

Did you know that 2025 marks the 80^th anniversary of the liberation and repatriation of WWII Prisoners of War (POWs) from Europe.

The Online Memorial and Museum of Prisoners of War is exploring the practicalities of organising an international commemorative event – POW80.

POW80, to be held in the UK, will focus on the relatives of Allied POWs and publicise the little-known experiences of Australian, British, Canadian, New Zealand and POWs of other nationalities.

We are now looking for volunteers with event experience to join our working group.
