‘Dr In Chains’ by George Moreton (pseudonym)

Dear Sir,

I have just started to research my father through Ancestry. He was a POW in Stalag VIIIB for quite a long time, I think. 

His name was Francis Gerard Carter, (known as Gerry), and his POW number was 14726. He is featured in the book ‘Dr In Chains’ by George Moreton (pseudonym) who later became our GP.
