I have information that my father Adam Sim Shiels Aird was in Stalag VIIIB.  He was  from Strathaven in Scotland and a member of the Cameronians.  He was captured in Sicily and in this camp.  He worked in a carbide factory and was on the long march.  I would be grateful if you could confirm this and add his name to the list.  He was friendly with Gardiner McKrindle from Glasgow and a Mr Knowles from Aberdeen who were also in the camp.
