Subject: Grandfather in Stalag xiiiB

Greetings, my Grandfather, John Dinmore, was in Lamsdorf. He ended up there after being taken prisoner with so many others of the BEF in May and June of 1940.

He remembers one night a mosquito dropping flares over the camp and waiting with all the other men to find out if they were marked for destruction or survival.

The following morning the Germans marched them all out to Nuremberg to clear streets after the bombing raid by the allies.

I know a little more about his life in camp. Do you have records of him please?

 Yours sincerely,

Jason Morgan.
