Information provided by Patricia Yates:

My father was a prisoner of war, firstly in Italy at PG 53 Sforzacosta and then Stalag XVIIA in Austria. His name was Harry Leonard, lance corporal in the Royal Engineers, service no. 1886381. He was at POW camp no. 53 Sforza Costa, postal mark 3300. He was taken prisoner in Greece. He sadly died at the age of 70, 25 years ago. He never spoke of his time as a prisoner of war.  1943 was the year.
