My late uncle married a German lady and died in Hamburg in 1974,his name was Albert Charles Weekes.

Another of that name came up and drawing what may be a “long bow” I deduced it may be likely he may be my uncle seeing as how the actual man did marry a German and died there.

The “mystery man” Albert Charles Weekes was a QMS of the Royal Artillery, if I’m correct, his PoW number being 13328, Army number 1020106 and imprisoned in Camp 344.

I’ll keep tapping away but it is infinitely more problematical from here in West Australia.
