My uncle, TIMOTHY SABELLA, served in the 2/6 Battalion, East Surrey Regiment and was captured in St Valery , France. He worked in the hard labour camps and on the railways. He died on the 14th December 1944, and I would like to contact anyone who served with him or anyone who has more information.

By some stroke of luck while searching for POW camps my mum and I came across your website and discovered my great uncle Pte Timothy Sabella 2/6 Btn, East Surrey Regt. We know he died in Dec of 1944 as a POW and we have a limited amount of information.
