Koschentin (now Koszęcin), District of Lublinitz (now Lubliniec)E416 Koschentin was situated some 55 miles east of Stalag VIIIB/344 Lamsdorf. It was a small rural community in the district of Lublinitz (now Lubliniec). Work in the area was mainly provided by the large estates, predominantly in forestry and sawmills. Prisoners of war replaced the forestry workers who were called up for service.
