B. J. T. Brotherhood  was in North Africa with the First Army,   they were withdrawn and sent to Italy where he was captured. He was then taken by transport and walking (mostly walking ) to Lamsdorf .

At 91 he still remembers some of it, mostly that the guards on the march were as hungry as they were,  anything they stole or gathered was shared with them.

If his name could be added,  his daughter and I would be happy to know that after he has gone his name will be written somewhere .
